IGAD Mobilises $7M as Ebola Returns to East Africa
The Intergovernmental Authority on Development has released its latest PREPARE bulletin as Kenya confirmed two imported Ebola cases in October 2026, prompting a reallocation of USD 7 million for regional preparedness. IGAD is now rolling out country-level consultations across its member states to translate the regional commitment into funded, implementation-ready response plans.
